RR Chapter 2: ROUGH pages 1-3
🕑 Added 2023-04-07 20:52:22 +0000 UTCHere's pages 1-3 (3 with text now!) in their rough stage. The captions are more or less a recap of the Chapter 1 intro with some new information added!
Once again this is going to be a background heavy comic, even though it's supposed to be about sexy alien antics, I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF. The good news is that I'm much more comfortable working in b&w and grayscale, so there's less potential for me to get sidetracked and delayed by trying to figure out how to COLOR all those detailed backgrounds.
And the thumbnails:
The thumbnails for this chapter have been a real mess so far. I restarted a few times, which is why some thumbnails will have thicker pen lines than others lol. I also broke my own rule about getting all the dialogue/text/captions figured out before I start making the page, but I'm only working on these a few at a time so I thought I could swing it.
Andy had a uh....dry erase board? in the original thumbs here, but I thought the imagery of him crunkling up the paper was more impactful (if not very low-fi for a future sci-fi world lol).
Thanks for reading!
