The Biker, hiding at the spa!

The week is already comming to an end again, so time to share more art! This is what I worked on :)
Sneaking around the soda machine
What you see above are 3 finished illustrations I made for the first sneak-scene I shared last week. The first two poses here are just what they are, but the last one last pose also has 6 variations where she is shaking and throwing that can she holds. (Phew, that took some time to make!)

And here is another set of illustrations for the second sneak-scene where the biker girl is going through the glasswork behind the bar.
Now while drawing all this, I realized she was turning her head quite a lot (something most characters don’t do in Space Rescue). So it was quite the challenge to keep her face consistent; and I hope I succeeded at that... But if not, then I’ll just dive back into the art later on, to give it another try. The thing is- trying to get every detail right can be real a time-trap. So I learned that it’s sometimes better to stop at some point, even if it’s not perfect & then just move on and draw the next bit of art.

Well, and then there is a third sneak-scene that I didn’t show before. Here the biker hid in a locker, to avoid being seen by Keen. Later on she step out again, after which a short scene follows. And I wanted to use this moment to once again show that this biker doesn’t care much for societies rules (aka almost breaking the locker...). Well, I hope it works!
So, that’s the art I made last week. But besides that I’ve also been adding these scenes to the game again. And with that, the most difficult coding is done now- and all that really remeains is adding the dialogs & character faces alongside it.
It will still be a bit of work, ...but hopefully I can finish this update soon!

Haha- it's funny you mention that! I even gave her her own 'inventory' pop-ups when she goes around the ship collecting things - effectively making het switch roles with Keen ;)
