Biker girl at the arcade- more pose illustrations
🕑 Added 2024-10-07 13:09:31 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
Last week I’ve been drawing poses again for the biker-girl’s arcade game. Now, I do feel I keep saying that…. but drawing a dozen different poses is apparently a lot of work ;)
Luckily I’m finally at the point that all poses are done & that I can now add the tattoos. So, let’s start with those.

So in the second image you can see that I made most tattoos by creating silhouettes. And then I added some purple to the shilouettes to give it a bit of depth & suggestion of detail. Normally I would start by creating linework, drawing every detail. But since you never see a real close up of the tattoos, that seemed unnesecary here.
But nevertheless, I did want to show you a closeup what I made :)

And here you can see the biker-girl showing the tatoo on the upper leg.
I added some blue-ish lighting here because I thought that would be cool. But it might be a bit strong considering Keen & the biker girl are playing in a well lit hallway. However, there is a hard transition between the minigame & the hallway, so...you probably don’t really notice it as something odd. (I hope).
And here is one of the poses as a jpeg, for better viewing. (I havent cleaned up the light effects yet- that's why her fingers are alo glowing atm).
Well, this is not all I made. There are still a few more revealing poses to be seen- but you’ll have to play the game to see the rest :)
Next I’ll probably export the art I made & then I have to start coding again. I hope it all works out as intended & then the next game update should be done again around the end of this month.
All the best!

PS. I liked the birds for a tattoo, but I was unable to really connect them with the 'coputer(wire)'-theme of the other tattoos. So, if you have any suggestions of how to do that, please let me know!

Those were some great ideas everyone! I wrote them down and will experiment with what works :) However, time is a bit sort for big changes, so I might need to do this later on. I'll keep you up to date!

This could really work RShrike, maybe I could aven place a cable in the beak of both birds, creating a sort of necklace-wire situation there? Thanks!
Robin
That's a beatiful idea C! That would also have been great for on her back, perhaps a big floating Lily. Time is a bit sort now, but perhaps in the future I can design an alternative, better tattoo setup for her (it's still seperated from the characters, so not too much work)...
Robin
Ah! I like it- not sure if there is much room for that. But I'll give it a try! Thanks Jon!

Haha- I like the marker tattoo idea...I''ll write it down & hopefully I can add that somehow. Thanks Michael!
Robin
Yeah, that could work, thanks ;)
Robin
I though about that too :) But I felt it might clash a bit with the scene where she sit's in from of the stick. Now the stick has a 'clean' background, and the landingstrip might ruin the image...but I feel I might focus a bit too much on the artistic details here :D
sasuke uchiha
she should have a landing strip

How about stylised swallow or a bird of paradise that has glorious trialing feathers, like errant connectors.

Here me out, after they're done they go back to Keens room for an off-screen reprise. When he wakes up he's got a massive chest piece tattoo and he's all like "Oh No!" And then Robin laughs and holds up a marker and is just like, "Don't worry, it'll wash off... Eventually!"

I suggest a tatoo that ends in an arrow-sort-of-way pointing towards the hot spot between the legs. ;-) Perhaps if the snake tail points down towards it, and the pattern of the snakeskin makes it look like arrows pointing in the right direction?

You could create a flower out of the cables, with connectors as petals. That could work with birds or on its own...
RShrike
Perhaps a riff on the classic "bird carrying something in its talons or beak" image? Replace the peace dove's 'olive branch' in the beak with a cable and have its connector poking up a little past her clavicle, possibly up onto her neck. Or replace the raptor's prey carried in its talons with a snake-mimicking cable. Or both, depending on how fond she is of the current bit of symmetry with two birds.
