Background art for Tech School!

I hope you are all doing well!
I myself am still enjoying the summer wherever I can. But as it is a bit rainy lately, I’ve decided to give my old gaming consoles a good cleaning. I’ve been taking them apart, dusting them, replacing some thermal paste here and there- and finally put them back together again. I still need to test them, so let’s hope it all still works. And what have you done this week? ;)
Apart from that I’ve of course spend my days drawing. And this week I’ve been working on 2 backgrounds for Keen's tech-school campus.
Keen’s school
So in the middle of the campus we’ll see the actual school in the background. Now as mentioned before, this will be a very dynamic background, and there will be about a dozen parts moving here ( like the elevator-windows , the crane, and even entire building segments).
The trees here are not real by the way, they are Repli-trees. And the bird is a Ro-bird. (Keen already mentioned that he only saw nature in a museum).
And here I made a breakdown of the scene, so you can have an impression which parts I’m talking about.
And here you can see how I drew this part of the background.
The boy’s dorm
And then on the left of the school we will see the boys dorm, where two of Keens friends working on a helicopter. The building in the background is still missing, as well as the foreground and some tools that will be scattered around. But later on I’ll copy-pate those parts in from other backgrounds (I have to be economical where I can!)

And here you can see a few snapshots of how I drew the helicopter. Oh, and the propellor on the back will be rorating in game; I just like to add details like that wherever I can :)
Next
Well- and that’s what I can share so far. I still have two more backgrounds to draw (and a sex scene), and then I’ll have pretty much all the art I need for the next update ;)

Thank you so much dacer, I'm glad you like it! I always enjoy imagining how Keens'retro-future world would look. While doing so I'm always hoping to strike a balance between actual futuristic elements.... and nonsensical overengeneerd designs- so that the backgrounds always adds a base-layer of humor to the game :D Please take care & all the best! -Robin
