Ron's Room!

This week I’ve worked on Ron’s room. Now as you might remember from Lune’s story; this legendary room has always been accessible, but it was never more then just a black screen. I even joked about it for the longest time ;D But now the room is fully sketched out. 
A bit of extra guest room
Ron is not part of the crew, and staying in a guestroom. Now to be able to tell his story, I needed to expand the room a bit. And so this is what I made.
Ron is the man on the right. He is an obsessive inventor who build many strange devices in his life. He’s pretty much always working, and therefore often hard to talk to.
But Ron’s husband on the other hand, is always very friendly, helpful and happy to talk about Ron’s many creations! (I thought they would be more interesting as a duo, instead of just having Ron there.)
And the current invention Ron works on is a time-travel-helmet (which will be of great use for Keen eventually). And I thought it would be nice to show more and more complete versions of the helmet as the game progresses. ...Or perhaps Keen needs to help find a few key items to make it work? Well, I don’t know yet- what do you think?
The thinking machine
And then there is the bedroom-part of the room. Now it would of course be strange if you could’nt go there. So I drew something for that as well. And what you see here on the right side, is a Thinking-chair. It’s not only the perfect gift for an inventor, but it also gave me the oppertunity to let Ron use Keens magazines as a footstool :) (This is relevant for Lune het story).
Testing the scenes
And here you can see some variations of the scene with the characters in it. These locations always have a dual purpose; it’s a place you can explore, but they also have to work as the background for the dialog scenes. And in this case I think they work pretty well ;)
Next
Well, and those are the sketches for Ron’s room. I love to hear what you think of it all!
The next step is to refine these sketches. But I might also switch back to the scenes around Keens school first. There both fun scenes to work on. But whatever it will be- I’ll show you soon!

Oh, I imagine Keen would like that :) Now at the moment Keen has three interests, miss holo magazines, engeneering and gaming. And all these interest directly connect with the stories in game. So...how would you propose that I bring back the graphic novels in a story? :)

Hey Darth_Zounds! Technically the room is already in game (It's guestroom 2 on the map), and you can visit the room once in Lune her story. But after that it's closed. The art I've show here however is not in the game yet, since I just drew it last week :)

Also... It's kind of funny that Keen apparently has so many of those Playboy type of magazines, but here's an idea for more character development: Maybe he also has a sizable collection of, say, "Space Wars" graphic novels? Just a thought!

Please excuse me if this is a stupid question, but can we see Ron's room in the game yet? And if not, when can we expect to?
