Neeva's very long sex scene - animations

This week I finally finished Neeva’s ‘very long sex scene’. And after more then thirty days of animating to bring this file to life, I immediatly wanted to share it with you!
But then I realized you probably want to see it in game for yourself. So I won’t share everything yet- but just a few steps of the animation proces. That way you can at least see what kept me busy all this time. I hope you will like it!
Cleaning up the kiss
So, let’s start with the kiss I previously showed you. This was the sketch I made.
And below you see how I cleaned it up.
First I drew both faces on seperate layers and animated the girls lips. Then I put both face-layers over each other, and let Neeva’s face move a bit up and down, until their lip-movement really connected. Next I eareased parts of Neeva her face, so it would fall behind Lune’s face. And finally I merged both faces into one layer, and drew in the last details. And then you have what you see above!
Combining animations
Now this kiss will be used in three different parts of this scene. And this is one example where I used it.
Now the kiss-part is really seperated from the rest of the scene, and will remains so in game as well. This allows me to freely combine various animations, and be able to play them at different speeds. It's something I started doing halfway the project, and I think it really helps to give a bit more life to the scenes.
Doing Lune
Further ahead in this scene Keen will also join the fun- and is persuaded to do Lune. And for that scene I made the animation below.
Now this is one of my many test-gifs that I always make during production. Because my files are so big, Photoshop won’t show a fluent movement when I try to preview it. So therefore I turn it into gifs, to really see if it all moves as intended.
The next step was to refine this animation, by adding motion to each individual bodypart.
Getting into Neeva
And then the final part of the scene starts, when Lune suggests Neeva should try having sex ‘her way’. And for what follows, I made this animtion.
This is another test-gif that I made shortly after staring this animation, and here you can see how I animate each part of the body seperatly. (And as you can see- I also mirror my work occassionally. This is to get a fresh look at things, which makes it easier to spot mistakes.)
And below you see another version of the same animation, where I added some more details- and cleaned up some parts, like keens knees.
Well, and those were a few steps of the animation proces. The final version will be part of the next update, so I hope you look foreward to that :) And if you have any questions of suggestions, please let me know!
