Bosra's mini-game

This week had to make a small sidestep and work on a mini-game for Bosra. Now this won’t be part of the next game update, but it’s something I needed to prepare for my programmer to keep things going. But I must say, it was fun to work on this!
Bosra’s mini-game
So, the story behind this mini game is that Bosra won’t accept Keens help during her training unless he proves his strength. And how better to do this then by doing some benchpresses? So this is what I made :)
Now the gameplay is really simple. You need to click fast enough to push up the barbell, while keeping it aligned with the purple block that moves over the blue tracker.
In total you only need to do 3 successful benchpresses...but with each attempt the purple block gets smaller (representing you get tired). So it will become more difficult to correctly push up the bar.
If you fail to keep your bar within the purple block, you get crushed and then you need to try again- as you can see below :) 
Now, most of the art is still very sketchy. But since the benchpress animation will be done in code (linked to the players input)- it was important to at least fully draw Keen. Now the challenge was to make Keens arms in such a way, that they can move around while still looking good. It took me a few tries, but now it works!
Well, and this is what I will send over to my programmer. Later on I will add Bosra as well as a decent background. But at least now the game can be made. :)
Next
Meanwhile I also worked on the wrestle teams ‘stretch animation’, and that’s alsmost done too. So I’ll post more on that soon. And I made some elaborate sketches for Neeva’s XXX-scene/sequence, which will be ehhh... interesting. But more on that later!

Well, I do like the sun a lot, and that usually pulls me away from my pc. So I guess I do work more in cold season :) But I think it's also because I work with others atm (webdesigner & programmer), which requires me to do a bit more on top of the actual game-content I make. But it's all fun! :) All the best! -Robin

Haha, Keen will survive :} But he will probably end up with severe muscle aches... in a certain muscle :)

Am I imagining things, or do you work even harder during the cold season? Nothing much to do outside when it gets too cold, I suppose? Even winter stuff isn't fun when you're freezing your sensitive bits. Stay warm! :-)
