A fun website!

I was wondering what to share in my post today! You see, I’m currently putting together another game-update- and that means I’m just writing hundreds of lines of code a day. I kinda like it, but it's not particular interesting to share right? :)
But then I remembered that I’ve also been working on a website a few weeks back. So, I thought let me share that instead!
Website with a gimmick!
Now my current website is totally outdated. And for the longest time I have been wanting to update that- but never had a good plan for it. I just wanted to add something fun to the website, something that people would remember- perhaps a gimmick of sorts? But I couldn’t figure out what that should be... until inspiration suddenly hit me!
As a kid, I loved those nude lady-pens; You know, where the backend of the pen had a lady in a bathingsuit on it... but when you turned the pen over, it would disappear. I always thought this was great!
And that combination of something sexy and fun, is also what Space Rescue is all about. So I just had to add something like that :)
Now to recreate this pen-effect, I plan to use the paralax-effect that you now often see on websites (where foreground and background scroll at different speeds).
And one way to use it, could be like this:
This is just a gif of course- but imagine yourself scrolling up and down, to get a better view through the leaves here.
And here I tried to recreate the idea of the 'Miss HOLO' posters that appear in game - I thought this was fun too :)
Website layout
Well, I’m not entirely sure how to use these effects excactly (and my attention is with the coding right now) but I already made a first website layout to see how I can bring things together. Now this page is intended to give a quick idea of what the game is about.
Well, and that’s about what I have so far. If you have any thoughts on any of this, then please let me know! I'd love to hear what you think of it :)

No not yet. Later on you need to connect more monitor cables, and that will turn the security room into a gallery. So it's planned, but not in yet :)

That's always nice to hear -Thank you! And I have a 'gallery-replay' function planned. But it will take a bit of time before I can actually set that up. You will eventually unlock it in game, when you open the security room :)

I really like the story so far - Just a shame there seemingly isn't a way to replay all the individual encounters, kinda like the Cookie Jar function from Summertime Saga.

first time I've ever even thought the phrase "pen-style" for anything...and you've knocked it out of the proverbial ballpark! (granted, i confess i've never had one of those pens, but getting to see it in your work, more than makes up for that)
