Location: Security Room

While the poll was running, I've been working on the background for the 'Security Room'.
By now it's finished, and so here it is ;)
So storywise, this is where Keen will review some security footage, hoping to discover the thief that stole the docs medical equipment. But this gloomy room hasn't been used for a long time.
So, to get things up and running again Keen will first need to adjust the plugs in the switchboard. Next Keen can use the central control panel to acces the security disks.
Now, you probably noticed the 'helping hands' holding the monitors. This is of course so you can zoom in on the screens. And by that, I mean a helping hand will push the monitor closer towards Keen face :)
Also, using the second control panel (on the right) will eventually give you acces to the 'Replay Gallery' :)
Drawing the room
Well, drawing this room was quite the challenge again! This is because there is really a lot going on, and there are many overlapping elements here. Now my intention was to make the room feel 'cluttered'... but without creating an actual visual mess.
So when I sketched the room, I eventually came to this result.
And from there on I started filling in the details again.
Now these dark and gloomy rooms are very difficult to draw, if you include the shadows right from the start. So that's why I first drew all the objects as if they were standing in a well lit room. And only afterwards, I added a blue shadow color over each object (I choose blue, because the screens emit a blue light).
And here you can see again how this image consists out of several parts.
Well, and that's the Security room.

Can you mix up the girl body types? They...all feel similar. With a space pulp setting, do you think one can be petite like say, Barbarella, or the old french and American pulp art?

The numbers Mason, what do they mean ???
It's a shame there isn't something like a hula dancer figurine or another small ornament to make the room feel a little more 'lived in'. There's a nice space for it just below where the blue monitor is placed in the last frame too.

Haha, thanks! It's actually the same disk I've been using in the banner of the 'game-download'-posts. I always wanted to reuse that, and now I finally saw a chance to do so ;)
