Art: Junkyard-story designs & interview with me!

I hope you're doing well :)
This week I continued working on assets for the Junker-story; and I had a lot of fun with it!
One of the designs I especially enjoyed working on, was the outfit of the girl with the red arms. She is a sort of blacksmith & part of her job is turning space-junk into robot-parts.
Now to make her job a bit easier I wanted to give her a power armor. And assuming she would be pretty hot all day ( hanging around the ovens), I figure her outfit could be pretty ehhh... casual :)
These girls also don't get many visitors, so dressing probably won't be a big priority I figured. The same goes for being thoughtfull towards cusomers. The girl in blue is a mechanic & she puts together the robots. Well, that is of course if you can pull her away from her favorite soap series...
So far about the girls! And then there is the main hall. This image isn't completly finished yet, but I'm getting close. I still need to soften the look of the image a bit & add a stronger light to the scene, so it all matches a bit better to the image above. And of course I need to add the details to the lower floor as well, like the stairs, couch etc.
And here you can see the blurred version. The characters are placeholders, but I add then early on to the picture to see how everything balances out. Looking at this now, I will probably make the girls hair more sturated/dark blue, so she stands out some more in the dark.
Interview!
Well, so far the art update! But in other news, I recently did an interview for an online magazine called NSFI. In the interview I tell a bit more about my carreer in games & how I came to make Space Rescue. Perhaps you find it interesting to read?
