Okay, I'm not like obsessed (actually I hated "Call me maybe") but I did have her first album and friggin loved it, including this song. I then went back to her when "Emotion" came out and that and Dedicated are 2 amazing albums. I'll hopefully remember to share some of those songs over the next bit. But off this album? Bucket, Tug of War, Money and the Ego, Worldly Matters and Sour Candy (w or w/out Josh Ramsey) are good songs.
Anyway. I have not much to do this weekend, but with a 40C week I'd like to remain in a cool place and just rest. Then next week, I'll work on 2025's (!) MIYM content.
I did see Deadpool/Wolverine. Glad I did since the surprises were worth being surprised, and without those surprises there sadly wasn't much to the film. Great chemistry, there just wasn't enough time for that cramming it full of jokes and surprises. Oh well.

Souls on fire is what I'm picking this go around. It's by Mad Gallica (or Cumulus from Ghost my favorite ghoulette). Her vocals are stunning and I always belt this when it pops up on my playlist. It makes me feel all the love/soulmates are real cheesy feelings. What can I say? I am going perusing for Halloween stuff since I know a lot of my local stores at least have a good chunck of their holiday stuff out. I'm very excited for the -ber months and especially spooky season! It's my favorite time of year. I need to take a look at Carley's stuff because until last week I hadn't even realized that she had other music. I mean obviously that makes sense, but when she was popular I was deep in my "the only music worth listening to is screamo/metal/alt stuff" phase. So I never thought to look at her other songs which was obviously a mistake. I thought deadpool was a fun watch. I'm much more excited for Joker. Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn has me beyond excited. If that one turns out bad or mid I'm locking myself in my room for a week.
