That's actually Nyarlathotep's real form overshadowing him (or at least one of his most famous and most used monster forms). Azathoth, his master and creator, is a being SO massive and SO powerful that he IS a universe/reality.

For those who are wondering, the newcomer who scares the shit out of the Grand Priest is Nyarlathotep, a malevolent deity created by H.P Lovecraft, and the first Lovecraftian to appear in this story. He is an extremely powerful entity with more magic in his right toe than a hall full of Grand Priests, and is nicknamed the "God of a Thousand Forms." I included him because I found the idea of two Zenos being incredibly annoying and unbelievable and wanted to add more diversity to the DBZ upper echelon Pantheon. He comes in like the Chesire Cat looking for some fun.
