So, before today, I haven't read a page of this comic. Mainly because I could bear reading it only to come to an abrupt end. So I waited until it was complete. I'm so glad I did. This comic is AMAZING! The detail, the choreography, the way the story flows through the fighting. There's so much to talk about and I have so few words. (Though I will say I caught that Rocky III reference) I beg you to upload this as a full PDF. I NEED a copy of this, it's that good! I can't wait to see how you handle Bojack!

What is this? A Gohan-centered fanfic that *doesn’t* utterly shit on Goku’s character? Must be a blue moon out tonight.

Gohan is able to spike his ki in a similar manner to Kaioken, but temporarily. This way he is able to match the speed and timing of a Kaioken user, even when not possessing the ability himself, and cancel it out accordingly. It was part of his training to reach Super Saiyan, which will be emphasized in the next page as Gohans power level rises in this exchange. By this point, Gohans rage is rapidly increasing his strength as well, allowing him to eclipse Cell even when using Kaioken to make up for his decreasing stamina.

I’m a little confused. How exactly does one “counter” the Kaioken? Is Gohan just that much stronger than Cell even with the boost?

Alright your probably using one of three Techniques, 1st Frieza’s Death Ball, 2nd a simple Giant Ball of Cell’s Ki Energy similar to an all out attack, or 3rd your using The DBZ Budokai Variation of the Spirit Bomb they made for Cell in 2&3…..🧐 or I’m way off base here 22. Very nice, that blocking stance kinda reminds me of Vegeta’s Final Flash Technique 23. *noticed in the 3rd panel no Yamcha but in that instant I just said to myself* “what about Yamcha” (Anyway) I love the look of the Last panel and that SS2 static shooting up into the air and all around him , kinda gives me a sense that nature’s helping him push Cell back

17 - Glad you liked it. It was inspired from the DBZ Kakarot cutscene of Gohan vs Cell. 18 – I figured during the fight he would try to take a shot at the other good guys, especially since he already did in Trunks. 19 – A bit of dialogue to build the tension a bit. Lol. And it’s North Kai.

*Pg. 17-20* 17. I love the face off in the last panel (😆 really hypes up the excitement for me) 18. That’s exactly the underhanded move that I would expect from Cell, you’ve captured him down to his own dirty Tactics very nice 19. It’s kinda weird seeing Goku taking MORE of a back seat from a fight like this but seeing Supreme Kai so calm is just SHOCKING. 20. Ahh that moment of the Tables being turned. I loved Gohan Tactfully fucking with Cell ( METAPHORICALLY!!! 😤 I BEG you don’t make a comic about that ) into his artificial saiyan Genes getting cocky and therefore blinding him in his Rage and inevitable Death
