Say hello to my halloween costume this year :) I love the pleasures and challenges of shooting in all ways, from high pressure shoots with complete strangers with particular needs/goals to aimlessly wandering with friends with no expectations and an open mind. This one was a little in between. With my housemate, I knew the look and that I wanted it to be at my house and around the land we live on. I thought maybe we'd tear off her wings and she'd be a true fallen angel vibe, but we decided to stay clean. I still haven't mastered the blood recipe without it staining everything for a couple of days.
I love this time of year and to see how it starts to shift what kind of art I want to see and create.
I hope you enjoy :))

Wow, I couldn't have said it better. While I was reading about angels, I read that the Devil was said to be God's favorite angel before they fell. I had never heard that before, maybe it's well known, but I love it

A lovely set with a somber vibe. It’s like this fallen angel is contending with her nature, physicalized and without her former grace, yet she continues to move about with elegance. How far can an angel fall before it’s no longer what it was before?

always important to have a spare set of wings around. An angel in their geodesic domain is good photo energy!
