Pin lights are the best for sharp shadows, I've used the light of the smarphone to achieve such result. And i took the picture with a camera, but another smarphone can do the job too of course.

Could you tell us what you used as the light source in this case? Even the smallest table lamps tend to be too large to give you directed light like this.
