He is the oldest non-Chaos Space Marine, many of the Chaos Space Marines are from the Heresy or even Great Crusade, especially a lot of the named ones. The Grey Knight in question, cant remember his name but I know who you mean, is possibly older then Dante, but not certainly so. The warp time dilation makes it so that some have only "lived" a few hundred years while having existed for over 10,000.

Here's a question. Do you think that the Lion will be able to put the Inquisition in check where Guiliman can't? Because it feels like this would be the best thing that the Lion's return could cause. Given that with the Celestial Lion's as an example, and the Lion while being mellowed out: still is one of the more cutthroat Primarchs. Therefore, I have been wondering if his presence will be what is needed to get the Inquistors and the more needlessly petty and 'Chaotic' sections of the Imperium in line.

There is canonically a ballpark. A sector, which can vary, (but there's about 10,000 sectors in the imperium) will usually have a Conclave, which is a full roster of its inquisitors from each ordo majors and ordo minoris, rounding out to about 20-100 inquisitors per sector, not counting their interrogators, staff, enforcers, acolytes, any form of distaff, etc (So roughly a million in the imperium, which also puts paid to that ancient and retconned "only a million space marines" thing Someone did the numbers a while ago, and there's probably more like 30 billion Astartes running around, which is a drop in the bucket because the Imperium has a population in the numbers that literally get into symbols I don't understand . Thracian Primaris itself, an insignificant hive world in an insignificant Subsector has a population of 22 billion per the book it's in. Necromunds is in the dozens of trillions.

Because personally, I think it’s an interesting thing to think about, especially with Vulcan.
