Be'lakor is straight up a replacement for Malal, the Fantasy version of Malice. I recommend listening to the Lorebeards Season 5 Episode 14, Mordheim, where a person who wrote for Warhammer Fantasy can give more info about it.

I don't like Vashtorr. He cuts off any further exploration of an aspect of Khorne, the construction of war machines. Khorne doesn't have wizards/psykers because, in old Fantasy editions, you could bring high tech things like las cannons and bolters, but that later got cut out to split Fantasy and 40k further apart, leaving Khorne with pure melee. He also steps on Be'lakor's toes by being "the one who will become the next chaos god." If they did this to push Be'lakor back to being a more Fantasy/AOS character, that would be fine, but they literally interact in Arks of Omen.

There are a couple of Warhammer Fantasy-specific minor Chaos gods that could be ported over to 40k, if GW ever remember they exist. Hashut, the dark god of the Chaos Dwarfs, pretty much invented Vashtorr's whole schtick - he's a god of fire and darkness, but more importantly industry, pollution and slavery. But the ones I want to see more of are Necoho and Zuvassin. Necoho the Doubter is the God of Atheists. No joke. And Zuvassin is essentially anti-Tzeentch - his one job is screwing up the plans of others. That's it. Collectively, they were created (for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay) to fill in the void left by Malice / Malal. But they are a fun pair, if nothing else. Servitors next?
