Another reason I think the Custodes might not be very transhuman dread-y is because isn't it said that big E intended for the Custodes to help him govern the galaxy after he conquered and united everything? Perhaps I'm misremembering that, but it makes sense to me that big E wouldn't make his future governors ℧Ultra-Terrifying℧ to look at for normal citizens.

Considering that Corvus Corax was the most recent (other than Robobitch Ganglyhands and The Lion, as far as I know) to show up in a book chasing down Word Bearers in the warp as a crow monster thing, its realistic to say he's up next to come back into the setting. But at the same time, I noticed a pattern on the tabletop, every legion with a primarch has their own army released, with ultramarines being the standard space marines, and dark angels having their own as well. the only other main legions with their own unique armies are the Space Wolves and the Blood Angels, so the only feasible primarch from those two is Leman Russ.

I feel like any time they mention big numbers in 40k I have to add a zero to the end, since one million space marines sounds like a lot, but space is very very big. I feel like specifically the numbers in 40k work better of you just add a zero or two

🇨🇦 reporting in for fracas duty Horus was Warmaster but I'd argue that Sanguinius was Heir Apparent so to speak? Just for the amount of love people have for him in-world not only irl, though part of that is due to his allowing the Emperor that winning shot on Horus. Sangy, Perty and Guil on the same side moving against the Imperium/Emperor would be devestating, especially since Sanguinius was the most beloved Primarch of the other Primarchs (even Angron felt less anger when thinking about him FFS!). Not even taking into account if the Silent King really *did* meet Sangy and have a sort of unseasy truce/respect for him. Sangy was more forgiving of mutants and xeno, almost like he was the second chance at Ideal Humanity from long ago that was lost again. The one who wants the job the least is often a good choice when it comes to jobs of power and we saw how much Sangy hated being an "emperor" but even Guil was like "you're the obvious choice." So yeah: Sanguinius, Emperor Secundus. Or, Daemon Prince of the Glorious Hosts, Beloved of Chaos Undivided. (Cause he certainly fits Tzeentch, Nurgle and Slaanesh more than Horus did. Even arguably Khorne since Horus was more okay with sneaky backstab fighting than Sangy).
