Yet taking on projects that are challenging and force us to be creative is how we grow. These solutions to novel problems make the work worthwhile, yet sometimes we don't actually know the issues that we'll face until we're in the thick of it.

I have a thought that has been smoldering in the back of my head for a couple years now. I wondered at the packing tape you used to create the air tight seal on the hot table and whether the heating of tape leaves an adhesive residue on the table. You have mentioned before that it is a really cheap tape, does that change how the tape adhesive interacts with heat and the metal, and have you ever have to go in and remove built up adhesive from the hot table?
