An Update, and a bit of an overshare ;)

Been a bit quieter on YouTube, not many Patreon updates and kinda falling off Instagram... Is everything ok?
Believe it or not, despite the swirling rumors, I do actually have an existence outside of my studio, one that sometimes gets a bit complicated and messy.
The past 6 or so months have been a whirlwind and filled with all the amazing, surprising, uplifting, devastating, awful and downright crappy stuff that life brings whether or not you ask for it or are ready.
I consider you folks to be kind of a strange extended family-maybe not the "come over for dinner" kind but definitely the "I'm having a BBQ, come on by" kind so I'm going to share some of this stuff with you. I mean, I kind of am accountable to you after all ;)
The great:
-YouTube projects are lined up for months and I've been furiously working on getting ahead so that I'm not overwhelmed, plus some of the projects have been really really fun and cool to work on so I'm super excited to share them.
-A top-secret project that's been in the works since last January (OMG!) is finally wrapping up, or getting close and should be ready to unveil in early 2023 and I am just buzzing thinking about it finally being public; it's been in my head for years, took mountains to make happen and is the closest thing I have right now to a creative expression of art... clearly I'm excited.
-I've started working on two more super secret projects that again, I can't really share much about now but am over the moon about. One is digital and one is analog and they're both really cool and I kind of can't believe that they're actually maybe going to happen.
-I finished working on the Porsche and finally got to start driving it and while this has nothing to do with my work, it's been such a long and intense project that seeing it completed (well, it'll never be fully completed) has been an amazing feeling.
The not so great:
-This Labor Day weekend I had to sadly say goodbye to my little pup Miko. She developed extensive terminal cancer and her quality of life had diminished to the point of being painful so it was time to relieve her of that pain. It was brutal and even typing it now, I'm tearing up. She was an amazing dog, even if she ate my brushes and I'll never forget her.
-Work has been intense. I've been working at an unsustainable pace because I felt like I needed to a.) keep all my clients happy all the time and b.) have some tangible control over something in the face of the next not so great thing:
-My wife and I have decided to end our marriage after 11 years and while it's for the best, it certainly hasn't been fun or easy. Anyone who's been through this or seen someone close go through this will know that the future looks brighter than ever but the path there is bumpy and well, crappy.
So, that's why I've been absent lately- life just kind of went into overdrive this past few months and I needed to put my hands back on the wheel and hold on. Unfortunately something had to give a bit and the YouTube/Patreon/Instagram was the place I felt like I had to ease up on. But this is the crazy thing we call life and you take your lumps and you count your blessings. Hopefully that's not too much of an overshare with my closest 2000 or so strange friends but like I said, I feel like I owe you folks more than platitudes. Thanks for listening and stay tuned as Monday I will start releasing a 5- part epic project that I'm pretty sure will make up for the lackluster offerings as of late.

Aww so cute. What an amazing dude. I've been through divorce after six years of marriage and it is stressful but if you remain understanding and don't react and remain objective and perhaps find someone who will just listen as you go through the strain, then as the time continues and once the legal stuff is out of the way, you heal and things carry on. Thanks for sharing your situation. A quirky man after my own heart LOL.
BBQ is fine,,I'll bring some Canadian beer along.
