For the objects and for us that is a fulfilling and rewarding relationship. Yet because they are extensions of ourselves when they are damaged we feel that pain acutely. And if one were to want to inflict pain upon us, they would merely need to exact an act of violence on the things we love. Such was the case with this painting, deliberately damaged in an act of violence against the owner. But through hard work, experience, and care hopefully we can help not only this painting but the owner in Becoming Whole

As always, an amazing video. It was also one of the most touching and emotional restorations because of the way it was damaged. I like many others, would love to know a bit more about how the damage occurred. I suspect because of how the damage impacted the owner, it was inflicted by someone close. I understand if you can't tell us more...we've just nosy. Lol Also, because of how it occurred, I found the final reveal to be very emotional. I felt for the owner and cried to hopefully know some pain was lessened because of your work. Bravo Julian. Bravo.
