Hi, another clue to the identity of fruit is leaves. The leaf hanging over the edge of the bowl is much like a currant leaf. Not really like a strawberry leaf. Not that it matters so much, maybe a useful idea in case a similar situation arises.
Thats so cool!! I grew up in a town right next to Canton, IL. (it's a tiny place so I'm shocked to hear it mentioned!) If the theory is true, I'm glad Hattie got a little justice.
