She'd known she was playing with fire, but that was what made their fling so alluring...a still-infectious bear, and a curious young woman toying with thoughts of joining him. It had all come crashing down into reality, and she realized she hadn't been quite ready to accept this burden. Her ears echoed with his apologies as she ran...even if he was truly sorry, that didn't do much to help her now, did it?
Her skin crawled with every footfall, her chest surging outward, becoming heavy with new momentum of its own. She could see her nose starting to push outward, its tip turning dark...heard her panting breaths becoming rougher, more bestial. Eventually she could run no more. She found herself collapsing at the edge of one of the cave-like crags down by the beach, a fitting alcove for the kind of creature she was becoming. She pawed desperately at herself, still embroiled in a mix of regret, lust, and confusion. He'd finished, but she hadn't...not yet...
