What she needed was a friend

Of course, she was pretty clingy most days...you were well aware that you weren't paying enough attention to her, but work had been so busy and you were trying to maintain a social life besides. You just didn't have enough time or energy to walk and play with her like you used to.
You were fiddling with your phone when she suddenly barked at you, which was unusual. She was generally pretty quiet indoors, she'd been trained well. You stopped what you were doing and shushed her...she wagged her tail and whined slightly. You knew that giving her attention, even negative attention, could reinforce bad behavior, so you didn't want to do too much in response. She barked again, louder this time. You shushed her again, wondering if this was gonna be a problem. Sighing, you figured maybe she needed to be let out for a minute, so you got up...and she barked once more, this time with unnatural force, and something resembling authority...you felt it reverberating within you somehow, a strange electric sensation, and found yourself collapsing...
You opened your eyes to see Daisy standing over you, looking pleased with herself. You moved to push her away so you could get up, but something gave you pause...or had given you paws...your hands had four stubby fingers, and were tipped with claws...Daisy panted and grinned at you, in an almost knowing way. You felt so strange...you looked down at yourself to discover that you were covered in white spotted fur...and had four breasts...did Daisy do this somehow?! You were turning into some kind of Dalmatian girl-dog-thing...was it over, or only just beginning? You were still tingling...Daisy bent down and lapped at you, her tongue playing across your changed form. She needed more than an owner...she needed a friend...and so it seemed she made one.
