Waking up one morning as a Rottweiler was a big adjustment in a lot of ways, but one of the unexpected ones was discovering how much she enjoyed the feeling of various textures on her paws. It was something she'd have to get used to either way, given they don't make shoes that are well-suited to human-sized dogs. Grass, dirt...she quickly learned that hot pavement really was no joke, and found herself becoming an advocate for her fellow voiceless canines.
But above all, the feeling of fresh mud squishing and splashing up through her paws was delightful, which also meshed with her newfound lax attitude toward getting a little dirty. She took walks in the rain on purpose, just to splash around a bit...one of the simple joys in life.
