Down the porcupath (Animated)

The name sounded silly, but she assumed it had to mean a trail where she might be able to spot a lot of porcupines, which were known to inhabit the area. There wasn't any real danger from them, little snuffling goofs wandering the woods...she shrugged and made her way over to the entrance.
The trail was easygoing, but no porcupines...no nothing, not even birds chirping. It was oddly silent, other than her slightly labored breathing, her footfalls, and the loud tearing sound as the emerging spines on her back shredded her shirt. Somehow it made sense to her...of course her spines would make it difficult to wear clothes. She stepped out of her pants too, and peeled off her sopping wet underwear, tossing them into the underbrush. She continued down the trail, oblivious to what she was becoming, and not remembering any particular purpose for being here...although she hoped she might meet a big, strong, handsome porcupine...
