🕑 Added 2024-12-13 04:42:12 +0000 UTCThe open road...experiencing all the sights and sounds along the historic route was amazing, but things did get pretty swampy down in her boots...especially out in the desert heat, packed in with her leg fur and all. So every once in a while she pulled her motorcycle off to the side to air things out a bit. The asphalt was uncomfortably warm, but it still felt good to stretch.
This whole trip, enabled by an accidental curse...true, she always would've been able to quit her job, sell her possessions and bike off down that road she'd always wanted to go down. Turning into a rat just happened to be the push she needed...it's a lot easier to drop everything and irresponsibly ride off into the sunset once you've been fired out of fear for how the clients might see you. She understood the decision. It was bullshit, but she understood. And out here, marveling at the mesas, she didn't hold it against them. Hopefully she'd be able to find work out west...
