The Motel Painting

A massive picture of a mooing cow - mooing or moaning - realistic, raw, drawing the eye and dominating the space. She almost tried to take it down, but her timidity won out...what if she damaged it somehow, what if housekeeping noticed? So the ugly thing stayed up as she collapsed into bed.
It found her even in her dreams...the cow was larger than life, staring into her soul...it's slack jaw made the motions of chewing its cud, and she found herself mimicking it subconsciously. Mimicking more than that...her face pushed out into a snout, horns burst from her head, and her belly bulged with a growing udder...the dream cow mooed with need, and so did she...
She bolted upright in bed, disoriented. She was still dreaming, wasn't she? Still dreaming...she gazed down her snout at her flabby body, with its black-and-white patterned fur. Something in her burned with a strange desire, a call that had to be answered. Gingerly, she dipped her fingers into her bloated snatch and worked them in a circle, groaning, moaning in a way that sounded more cow than human...this was fine, it was disgusting and weird, but ultimately fine, since it was only a dream...wasn't it?
