Darndest thing...one day she just started bloating up, faster'n I'd ever seen any human pack on the pounds. She wasn't eating any different...something about the way she'd look at me and blush told me she had something to do with whatever was happening, but I knew better than to pry. Then she grew a snout and started clopping around the house on her new hooves, jigglin' all over the place...finally she asked if I'd let her live in the barn and start treating her like one of the hogs. I told her that didn't sit right with me, behaving that way toward my own wife, and next it was 'yeah, about that...' Guess she just always wanted to be a fat, dirty sow, thinking of herself as nothing more than an animal. And animals don't marry humans...we'd been distant for a bit anyhow, so I shrugged. And there she sits, rooting around in that sodden snatch of hers, letting the whole world know how she feels about it. Sometimes I'm almost envious, but most of the time all I can do is shake my head. Anyway, you can feed her tomorrow if you like, give her a scratch behind the ears, she seems to like that."
