Sometimes she'd be walking down the sidewalk alongside dozens of others, then suddenly get a whiff on the air that would make her go numb...she'd follow it, glancing around furtively, only to find some bull man minding his own business, waiting for the bus. They of course could smell her as well, and would pointedly look her way, causing her to flush and hurry away in the opposite direction.

It was an innocuous meeting, just passing each other at the supermarket...but she felt a light touch on her arm that spun her around to face him.
