Not that she couldn't do the work, but she drew attention for all the wrong reasons and no one took her seriously anymore. And not to mention the extended breaks she required to, erm, release some pressure, which she was afforded by law but employers preferred not to have to deal with.
So when she was asked to resign from her current job, no one else would hire her. No one but Peyton Farms.
She'd sworn she'd never debase herself to a job like that, but that was before the reality of her situation settled in. With a sigh she sent in her application, and was told to report for work without so much as an interview. Great. Nothing about her really mattered, she was a resource to be harvested.
During the humiliating check-in process, she was briefly outraged when they strapped on a belled collar and tagged her ear like a common cow, then was grumpily mollified by the free snacks offered to her. But the moment those suction cups were strapped on...all trepidation was erased. She wanted to stay forever. It was so different from dealing with it manually, she wasn't sure she could ever go back...the tablet she'd brought to read on was completely forgotten as her eyes rolled back in her head, and she let out a long, drawn out moooooooo...
