Porker (Pig TF 1/7)
🕑 Added 2024-02-19 22:35:48 +0000 UTCOlivia felt all wrong...first she was burning up, then she had the chills...panting, she sat down on her bed, but then couldn't sit still and stood up again.
She kept going over the day's events in her mind. She'd gone to pick up her husband Ted from work, but arrived in the middle of a shouting match between him and a client...some old woman who couldn't pay her bills. It wasn't his fault she was being foreclosed on, nothing he could really do to help, but somehow he'd become the target of her ire.
As Ted abruptly ended the meeting, the woman had stared daggers at Olivia. "I take it this is your lovely wife, then?" Ted did his best to ignore her. "Let's go, honey." As they walked out, the old woman shouted from behind: "You'll regret this! You and that...that porker of a wife of yours!"
Olivia had felt a tingle down her spine, the woman's words having a physical impact on her. "What...where does she get off saying things like that? I'm not fat! ...I'm not, right?" she said, blushing as she glanced at Ted for support. He sighed. "Of course not. Just ignore the crazy lady. I'm so fed up with today. Sorry I have to leave you at home tonight, but I am SO ready for a night out with the guys, you have no idea." Olivia smiled. "It's fine, after dealing with people like that, you absolutely deserve it."
But...it wasn't turning out to be fine. She'd felt...strange, off, for the rest of the afternoon. She tried to tell herself it was just fatigue, and assured her husband that she'd be alright. But now with Ted gone, she felt as if something was seriously wrong...
