Downed State
🕑 Added 2018-01-25 04:52:02 +0000 UTC Downed state is a concept I allured to earlier, but I don't think I elaborated on. I am currently in the process of implementing this new state and I will describe how it works here.Currently, every character have 2 possible states: Dead, or Alive. A new state will be introduced to game: the Downed/Vulnerable state. Characters in this state are disabled, but not necessarily "defeated,"... yet.
In the defeated state:
- An ally can help the character get up. After some time, the defeated character will be "revived."
- An enemy can initiate a "capture," likely with the [F] key ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).
The "capturing" portion will be implemented in Demo4, and I am only implementing the "reviving" portion atm. Also, as a remainder, only the <heroines> class (player, companions, specials, boss, etc) can have a defeated state. Thus, <minions> (such as the "mobs" in the current dungeon) are not lewdable, but they can initiate the lewd on others.
How do character get into the defeated state? Well, the currently thought is that it replaces the "defeated" state for applicable characters. (HP <= 0). During the "defeated" state, the maximum HP of the character will gradually decrease. When the maximum HP reaches 0, then that character will be "defeated."

CBAD in order of preference. There could be some attacks that reduce stamina (or a new bar) and once that bar is empty, the character goes down and have to recover (a bit like the green bar in HR).

sense we are not at the sexy phase yet it would make sense for C and D to be it. Those 2 poses seem to be the only really battle *Take to much damage* stances after getting knock out tho A and B do seem like if they got hit by a Heavy hit more of a like Single heavy weapon (Giant Hammer, Giant Sword, ETC) that could knock them over/send them flying as they hit the ground. Any way I vote C or D
I prefer A. B looks like you're taking a nap, not struggling to get back up.
But C would be my number 2.

Maybe implement some way to get stunned without 0 HP or 0 stamina, like power attacks that must be dodged and will stun you if you try to block them. Give them a glow or something to help differentiate them.

B would be best for a truly defeated state, your not getting up unless someone helps you up. A/C would be good for more of a downed state there is still a chance you could get back up on your own. 0HP=defeated/helpless to an attacker. 0 stamina=downed you can struggle to free yourself.

That looks nice! I like A the best followed by B. But I definitely like the concept!

A looks like Dead or Alive, B looks like Heroine Rumble, C looks original and it's like she got hit by a bullet, D looks more like an exhausted state. But if it's possible then A fits with being attacked from the back and B fits with being attacked in front.
