Although often asymptomatic upon initial infection, EBV has been implicated in a wide range of diseases and complications, some of which can be severe or even life-threatening. Besides infectious mononucleosis, commonly known as โmonoโ or the โkissing disease,โ EBV is associated with several malignancies, including nasopharyngeal carcinoma, Burkitt lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and Hodgkin lymphoma. EBV is also linked to gastric carcinoma, a type of stomach cancer, and certain autoimmune disorders such as multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and rheumatoid arthritis.

Years ago in my mid 40's I had reactivation of this virus and my viral titers have remained very high, worse during the summer. Hopefully with continued use this will help. Thanks!
