EEEEEGNNHH EEEEEGNNHH EEEEEGNNHH EEEEEGNNHH EEEEEGNNHH EEEEEGNNHH EEEEEGNNHH EEEEEGNNHH EEEEEGNNHH EEE- merciful silence. In the instant Kendra's bloodshot eyes glared at the alarm, all noise ceased.
She closed them again as she slowly crawled out of bed and sleepwalked into the bathroom. As Kendra peeled off her top, it caught around something; she heard and felt the chain snag on the fabric.
"What the fah...", she trailed off half consciously, "when..."; then after almost falling limp in microsleep, she lurched back upright and continued, "when the fuck did I put this back on?"
Ken very carefully untangled her black tank top from the medallion, then let it fall to the ground as she shuffled over to the loo and took her seat on the throne. Her fingers continued to trace the pathways as again she nodded off and her head fell forward startling her back into the moment.
Her eyes burned and she almost hurled as she stood back up and walked over to the switch, sending the room back into blessed darkness. The relief was almost immediate, as she felt the pressure now draining from her eyes; as though somehow the black could draw the residue of light from within, cleansing the badly worn windows to her tormented soul.
It wasn't glowing, she couldn't see the talisman at all as Kendra held it inches before her face. If anything it was darker, like it was sucking in all the light around it, and the burn from her eyes with it. After another long moment, she felt out the hook, hung it, and blindly stepped into the tub.
She ought do this more often, showering in darkness was quite relaxing, at least after the initial blast of cold before the water balanced out.
Kendra rubbed and kneaded every inch as she lathered and rinsed, especially in front as her breasts were quite tender this morning. 'Oh God', she thought, soon realizing it wasn't just the pressure sensors, all the nerve endings were in overdrive.
As her nipples hardened, she also felt a tightness in her hood, as another part of her screamed for attention. At first she tried to ignore it and finish her shower, but as that became impossible Kendra switched focus to pleasure alone, seeking quick release lest she be late.
But release did not come, nor for that matter did she, as for several agonizing minutes the stimulation built... rising ever higher but not cresting over. Then, without warning, just as her touch was starting to become painful... Kendra felt her whole abdomen seize up and she heard a loud blat against the drain as she almost passed out.
She had never though of herself as one of *those* women... the ones that lose control of certain bodily functions in the moment- 'me, a sq-', it hurt her head to even think the word. 'No no no... it must have just been water caught on her arm that made that noise', Kendra tried to convince herself as she shut off the faucet.
As she stepped out into the darkness, Kendra swore she saw a faint pink aura near where she left the necklace, but as she reached for it, she caught only blackness.
After fumbling along the wall for a moment, Ken finally located the switch... and instantly wished she hadn't.
At least it didn't burn this time, it was just unpleasantly bright.
Kendra wrapped her towel, placed necklace against her bare chest, and gathered her pajamas before stumbling back down the hall to her- *closed* door. 'Huh. Closed... when did I do that. Wait, when did I open it? Okay, mind's playing tricks again, obviously I opened it when I came out here to shower.'
As Kendra opened the door, her vision washed in to white... she cringed and slammed her eyes shut as she felt a migraine coming on. Somehow she managed to close her door and fall back onto her bed, and throw a pillow over her face until her eyes finally adjusted to the day.
Once the pain was gone, she pulled back the pillow and cracked her eyelids just enough to see- oh shit! Damn it! Kendra flipped out of bed- Ow; fuck! Ah... damn headboard. Gotta go, already late... she managed through the stars and throbbing.

Kendra peered through the glass into her English room; Mr. Mandrake was in the middle of yet another passionate lecture... probably on something very boring.
Ugh... now she wished she'd brought a raincoat- with a hood. Being late meant she'd be sitting in the front, and from the looks of it, she would need one today.
There was only 30 minutes left, surely no one would notice if she just hung out in the bathroom for that time. It's not like it makes any difference now, she was already marked absent, and coming in this late wasn't going to change that in Mandrake's mind.
What really annoyed her, though, was missing phys-ed... the one class she looked forward to each day.
She made her way carefully down the hall, through the door, and into the last stall. As she locked it and sat, Kendra noticed a pair of shoes in the next one over.
After several uncomfortable minutes, Kendra broke the silence, "English... you?"
"PE", came a deep voice that she almost recognized.
"Really? Wanna trade? I could use a few laps right now.", Kendra laughed.
"Ugh. You must be one of those skinny girls that everyone likes. You have no idea what its like changing in front of them...", the girl sobbed.
"You're right, I don't. I have it first period, so I just throw something on over them before I leave the house... that way, when I get there all I have to do is take off my sweats and jacket. Then I change in this stall between periods. If I dressed out there, I'd have to kill someone.", she explained, only half-joking.
"I wish I could kill them", came the tired voice from the middle stall.
"No you don't", Kendra said flatly. "First you have to dispose of the body... at let me tell you, that is a pain. And messy too if you want to do it in smaller pieces. Then you have to clean up the evidence... bribe, threaten, or even kill the witnesses, which starts the whole process over again... and then the cops come nosing around campus, asking all manner of questions- it's just one pain in the ass after the next", she went on, not pausing until afterward to reflect on her reversed sentence.
A stifled laugh came from the next stall.
"Kendra", she offered after another few seconds of silence.
"Amy. Amy Mitchel", she said stepping out of her stall.
The girl was big, Kendra realized coming out from her own stall. Not sumo big, more like Samoan big... over six feet- and it didn't really help that Ken was roughly crotch-level to her.
"Hey, I know you. You're that short girl that everybody's afraid of", Amy said, regretting it immediately as she saw the explosion in Kendra's eyes.
"Excuse me?", she said, already seething.
"I didn't mean anything by it... its just, you know, you are kinda-"
"Yeah, yeah.", Kendra dismissed. It wasn't anything different from what she thought every time she saw a mirror anyway.
"Sorry", Amy offered.
"Its fine.", Ken replied pausing for a moment, "request a transfer."
Amy was take aback, was that a threat? "To another school?", she asked.
"Why would you- no. I didn't mean it like that. Ask to switch your first and second period classes. Make a big deal about it if you have to... tell them your parents are ready to sue over the bullying if they don't. The admins are scared shitless about that nowadays."
"Wait, how would that help?"
"How would it help?", Kendra repeated incredulously. She then folded her arms across her chest and tried to look really intimidating. Despite her stature, the pose was quite effective. "Would you tease somebody in front of me?", she challenged.
Finally, Amy got it; a tear started to form in her eye. "You'd do that for me?", she confirmed, halfway between smiling and crying.
"I'd offer to give you a hug, but I don't feel like climbing on the counter to do it", Kendra jabbed to lighten the moment.
Amy chuckled then thought for a moment, "Why'd you ditch English?"
"Forgot my umbrella-", Kendra started, only to be cut off.
"Oh my god, you have Mandrake too?", Amy nearly shouted, practically blowing their cover. "I have him first period... hey, that means we'll have two classes together!"
'Great...', Kendra thought; not that she minded the girl, but she was clearly more than eager enough for the both of them... and Kendra was never one to pass up the opportunity to save some enthusiasm for a rainy day... like today. Huh.
"So when do I tell them I want to switch? Do I go in after school... or come in early?", Amy pondered aloud.
"I'd go now- like it just happened. Oh, and it wouldn't hurt if you were really upset and crying.", Kendra suggested... adding a moment later, "I can kick you in the shin, if that helps."
Amy wasn't sure if Kendra was being serious about that last part, but rather than find out she concentrated for a couple of seconds, then ran out of the bathroom crying.
"'atta girl, go get 'em", she said right as the bell rang.

Either Mrs Olguin ate her vitamins this morning, or Kendra was in an alternate universe, because the math lecture actually made sense today. It was almost as though she could see the equations unfolding all around her.
Just as the stark contrast from the world she new was really starting to unnerve her, the bell rang again and she was off to Electronics.
Mr. Gonzales didn't disappoint, as within the first ten minutes of class the reality she knew came crashing back; what the hell was it with her and batteries?

Lunch was more of the same... wait, what are you guys staring at, Kendra wondered as she absentmindedly picked half the food off her friends plates and swatted them off of her own.

"So until we open the box-", Lucinda Collins continued from last lecture, only to be interrupted.
"The cat exists only as a probability wave, non-localized in a superposition of all possibilities. Once observed the waveform collapses back to the particulate state of spacetime as we know it and the cat returns to existing in a single finite state", Kendra blurts out, unsure where the inspiration came from. She becomes a bit uncomfortable as the entire class stares confused, except for Lucy, who is smiling at her; 'you know, for a teacher, she's kinda cute- wait, where the hell did that thought come from???', Kendra worried as she realized her attraction to her physics teacher.
'Oh my god, someone finally gets it', Lucy thought. 'Stop it, Lucy; bad girl. She's a student. I mean, she is 18... but its against policy; listed as grounds for termination. Oh, but it would be so worth it. I haven't felt this since I was that young... and nubile', Lucinda bites the corner of her lip as she tries to compose herself.
Somehow Mrs. Collins manages to complete the lecture, but Kendra notices she left a trail of water from the front of her desk, where she was just leaning, to the chalkboard. It seems no one else caught that, fortunately.
Kendra tried not to think about it, but found it difficult to ignore the throbbing in her loins as her buzzer tried to push its way through her jeans. She found herself slowly rocking her hips, in varying length strokes that somehow none of the other students saw.
None of the students did, but oh my god Lucy felt it. Each thrust only served to make her wetter, Kendra could see a veritable river running down her nylons and into her heels. It was a wonder she didn't make a squishing noise as she stepped.
The bell couldn't ring fast enough for either of them, and though miraculously no one else caught it, they saw it in each other's eyes as Kendra walked past.
'What the hell is wrong with me... she's a teacher... and old; like, dad old... ew.', Kendra sat dazed through Mr. Walker's History class, completely missing how alike Tim II and III really are. It would have been so obvious to her now, whom Vox was modeled after.
'Oh fuck me', Kendra thought as the sensation returned just as she walked in to her next class.
Ms. Melonie Murray's firm thighs and buttocks dared you to stare at them... and more. Many of the boys in the class already knew this, as did a couple of the girls, but only now did Kendra take notice.
Millie walked uncomfortably from the chalkboard back to her desk and sat so the students wouldn't see how excited she was becoming. She hasn't had a 'lady boner' like this in ages, and with a clit as large as hers, she was sure someone saw.

Kendra had nearly as much trouble reading... but for some reason she kept involuntarily smiling every time she made eye contact with Millie. She tried not to look, but with each gaze she became calmer, more confident.
Finally the bell rang and the day was over. As Kendra walked out, Ms. Murray grabbed her arm, "Kendra, wait." Holding contact for far too long, "Nice job... uhm, reading." She then smiled, but didn't let go for another couple of seconds.
Kendra felt her own lady now straining for freedom as she did her own walk of shame across campus to the club-room. Not that anybody noticed... except maybe every cute girl she walked by. She could feel the lust of their gaze and they hers; despite this, Kendra made it to the D&D room with her clothing more or less intact.

"You finally decided to join us", Chris remarked as Kendra walked in; she was usually one of the first ones here... she must have lingered longer than she thought at the last group of hotties.
"You arrive back in town to find Sigmund and Voxlorne at the tavern, celebrating their victory on the house; Brother Alvius is with them, but has no drink before him.", Mark narrates.
"Sprained, huh?", Kendra says shooting Chris an eyebrow for missing the big fight yesterday.
"Yeah, hurt like hell. Well, maybe it was more of a twist, but I'm fine today, thanks for asking", he retorts.
"You know what, we are too... thanks for your help", Kendra's eyes narrow.
"Hey you two, it doesn't matter, the dragon's dead; let's celebrate... barkeep, another round for my friends", Sigmund calls.
"'You're right'", Kendra said in her best character voice, smiling across the table. "Helga walks over to the bar and grabs a handful of walnuts out of the bowl and stands with one foot on the counter addressing the room. 'Gentlemen, how many of you believe your nuts are harder than these?', Helga asks as she shows the walnuts for a moment before placing them in the crook of her elbow and crushing them against her stone-hewn biceps..." Picking up her dice, she continues, "that's a 26, Mark... they're dust. 'So, any of you feel up to the challenge?'"
"You have their full attention, the room is silent, but rather than answer most of the patrons down a large swig of ale", the DM says.
"'Good, then they'll be no objections when I say ALL OF THE LADIES ARE MINE TONIGHT', Helga proclaims while striking her best double-biceps pose", Kendra continues smugly in character.
"Uhm...", Mark stammers for a moment, unsure how to proceed. Kendra shoots him a playful eyebrow and motions for him to continue. "The women in the room shrug and make their way over to you. Many of them will be glad to spend a night free of handsy patrons", the DM improvises, still unsure where to draw the line.
"'You there, in the back', Helga calls to the woman in the corner booth, 'don't be shy sweetie, come join us'", Kendra acts out, patting the game table for effect.
Rolling with it, Mark throws a die and looks at his chart, "As she starts over to you, the goliath she was with stands up, accidentally flipping the table before pointing straight at you, 'That's MY WIFE, Dwarf!' With that he picks up the largest hammer you've ever seen, 'I don't know how a freak like you got so big, but don't think you can scare me like all these cowards in here. You lot should be ashamed to call yourselves men.'"
"'I'll return her safe in the morning... if she still wants you by then', Helga muses while grabbing another handful of walnuts. 'As for you, I won't make the same promise.' Helga will be making her intimidation check with STRENGTH instead of Charisma", Kendra announces as she rolls. "YES! Natural 20... that's a 32 to intimidate and the following feat of strength: Helga peels down her leather pants and places a handful of nuts in her kitty."
"Then what?", Chuck asks a little more interested than he wanted to admit.
"That's what the 32 was for... she cracks all of them at once using only her kegel muscles, then she lets the remains fall to the floor", Kendra smirks, probably the only one at the table comfortable with these events.
"The giant man's face goes pale and he sits back down to chug his mead, only to realize it was soaking into the floor. The girls in the room burst into thunderous applause and come even closer, clearly aroused by your display", Mark says while looking around the table for reactions.
"'Do what you will, but leave me out of your barbarous ways', Brother Alvius stands to leave", Chris declares with a beet-red face.
"'Share the love, Ken- er, Hel', Sigmund pleads, trying to persuade her. Shit! Um, that's a 7.", said Chuck, rolling badly.
"You're not convinced", Mark laughs.
"'Guys', Helga says putting one hand on each of their shoulders. 'You get all the action on our adventures, tonight its my turn'", Kendra says smugly.
"There's three of us, Ken, where'd your 3rd arm come from?", Chuck asks.
"Not anymore, I'm walking out", Chris repeats.
"'Ladies, could you entertain Brother Alvius for a moment while I take care of some business. Please don't let him leave.', Helga commands as she walks over to the tavernkeep to inquire about his largest rooms for rent."
"The girls encircle you, Alvius, blocking your way out.", the DM confirms. "Helga, the inn keeper tells you that all the upstairs rooms are the same size... and from the looks of things not large enough for what you have in mind. But, since you did save the town from the dragon, he offers to close up early and let you use the tavern if you promise not to break anything."
"'Unhand me you filthy whores! Don't make me resort to violence.', Alvius warns pulling out his cudgel."
"'Hey! Play nice!', Helga scolds as she picks him up by the back of his head with one hand, like you would grab an orange at the market", Kendra threatens.
"Mark!", Chris whines, "she didn't roll. Shouldn't I have a chance to resist?"
"The only chance you have, puny priest, is if I roll a 1. And I grapple with advantage, so what do you think the odds of that are? As to resisting, if you keep squirming the only grip you're gonna break is the one between your 2nd and 3rd vertebrae", she muses.
"Technically she's right, Chris, but why don't you guys go ahead and roll it out anyway."
"Alright... 1", Kendra concedes and Chris's face lights up seeing the fail. "...and a 6, so that's 18 to grapple."
"11... that makes it either a 9 or a 10, so *whatever*", Chris turns 2 shades redder than before as he throws his hands up in frustration.
"I pluck the weapon from his hands and scold him, 'if you EVER threaten anyone under my protection again, I'll see to it you lose your celibacy... and your toy stick' Then I slide his weapon up his back all the way to his neck so he get's my drift", Kendra chides.
"What the fuck's gotten into her?", Chris asks, looking around the room.
"'Play. Nice.', I remind him, then I set him back down... but he won't be getting his weapon back until tomorrow.", Kendra states. "By the way, what the hell happened to Voxlorne? He's been so quiet tonight..."
'Thank you!', Tim mimes, throwing his hands out in front as if to say it's about fucking time someone noticed.
"Oh yeah", Chuck remarks, "while we were waiting for you I slipped him a mickey... put a little *sound of silence* in his drink."
"Nice one", Kendra leans across the table to high five.
"You've been a good sport about it, Tim, so I'll give you inspiration for RP-ing it so well.", the DM nods.
'Thank you.', he mimes with his hands clasped, still looking irritated that he can't speak.
"'Alright, tell you what guys... if the ladies are still up to it after they wear me out, and more importantly IF THEY WANT TO, I'll let them keep you company. But I don't make any promises, they have their work cut out for them tonight.', Helga proclaims as she moves the tables out of the way and builds a makeshift bed out of the linens and clean rags. Then she motions for all fourteen of the girls to come join her as she lays back and spreads out."
"Okay, and that's all the time we have this week", Mark officiates, ending the session. "There's no school Friday, so I'll see everybody on Monday for a new campaign. Oh, and don't forget, come in Tuesday in Character for double XP."

Back home, Kendra sat on her bed playing with the medallion. She didn't hear her father come home; didn't hear him gently knock on her door to see if she was still awake; she didn't even notice she had been sitting in the dark all evening, a pale glow emanating from her olive skin.

"KENDRA!", she was startled awake as her father shook her. "Oh, thank god. I've been trying to get through to you for hours, I couldn't tell if you were meditating or something had happened. You have been catatonic since I got home."
"Sorry, p'pa, I must have dozed off while I was waiting for you", she said coming out of her stupor. A moment later noticing the sky, "you're home early, its still light outside."
"Early? How long have you been like this?"
"What are you talking about, I got home from school... maybe a couple of hours ago. I wasn't expecting you home until after nine."
"Nine? Its eleven-thirty! I thought you were asleep when I got home last night, so I didn't check on you until I got back this morning. I found you sitting like this, eyes open, staring blankly out the window."
"I was?", she asked, involuntarily still rubbing her thumb along the grooves of the talisman. She could make out familiar symbols now, twelve of them to be exact, odd that she didn't notice them before; how could one not recognize the signs of the zodiac. Between each there were also two short lines, like tick marks, as though this were some strange kind of clock. As it slipped from her hand back onto the bed all the markings vanished. "Strange."
"You sure you're okay, you don't want me to call anyone? Perhaps I could get you a glass of water? Some advil? Breakfast is in the kitchen, I'm afraid its gotten cold."
"Really, papa, I'm fine.", Kendra said as she stretched out and got up. "Perhaps I was meditating, I've never felt so relaxed... its almost like I slept a week."
"You're not far off. Speaking of, if you're sure you are okay, I'd better punch some straw before I go in. Unless you need me to stay home?"
"No, no, go and hit your hay... but, before you do, something's been troubling me."
"Yes, what is it?", Sami asks.
"Father-"
"Oh, it must be serious... you only call me that when you're upset."
"Sorry, no its nothing like that, papa, its just-", Kendra mumbled and hesitated for a moment. If he were ready to tell her, he would have already... but she couldn't wait any longer, she needed to know what happened.
"Its okay, you can tell me anything."
"Why don't we have any pictures of mom?"
"Oh.", he looked crestfallen. He knew this day was coming, but still one cannot prepare for such things. "That."
"Kendra, I-", he stopped, took in a deep breath and tried again. "I don't know what really happened to your mother. I know I said she was in an accident, and-", he shook his head and tried again to compose himself. "I don't know why. I mean, maybe it comes with being a devi, I-", he stammered on for some time, but couldn't seem to make a coherent statement.
"Please, papa, what are you saying?"
"I met your mother when I was a young man. She was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I fell in love the moment I laid eyes on her, and for a time I think she felt the same. Then, one day, I don't know what it was... maybe she got bored, or something urgent came up- anyway, one day she was gone. She never said goodbye, never told me she was going, one day she simply wasn't there. I came back, for months, to the same places we would hang out... hoping I might catch a glimpse of her, but she never came."
"Dad, I'm sorry I-", Kendra began, realizing how painful this must be for him.
"Then, years later, she appeared at my door. No explanation where she'd been, or why. Rather than unshroud any of the mysteries about her, she gave me another one... you. Again, she didn't say why she was leaving, but she told me that she'd named you Kendra and that as your father I would be looking after you. I didn't know the first thing about being a father, but I took one look at your tiny face and knew I wanted to protect you from all the bad things in this world."
"So mom... she just abandoned me?", Kendra cried out in frustration her eyes wide in disbelief...
"Honey, I'm sorry, I-"
"An- Yu- You told me she was dead", she shook her head. "Why. Why would she do that?", Kendra was openly crying now. "What's wrong with me?"
"Sweetheart... I am so sorry for not being brave enough to tell you this before, I didn't want to see you hurting... as you are now. Listen, honey, there is nothing wrong with you. She may be beyond comprehension, but I don't for one moment believe your mother wanted to leave you. Kendra, dear, whatever it was, I think she had to go, and she gave you to me so I could keep you safe... and so you could have a normal life."
"Normal? What is there normal about me? I'm just a freak; a short, fat freak that nobody wanted.", Kendra sobbed, taking all the wrong things out of her father's story.
