🕑 Added 2024-09-15 19:01:58 +0000 UTCMisha and Rick doing their big bad criminal shit, featuring Kendle's legs. I love drawing scenes between actual book scenes haha I need to stop doing that but canon-off screen things just hit different <3
I can't give way too much context about what actually happens at the end of the books (though some OG followers may know cause... I'm bad at not spilling the beans AHAH), but Rick and Misha were not exactly in a great situation here. Specifically Misha, Rick was the ringleader so I'm not even gonna make excuses for his behavior
A part of the reason why Rick was a successful vigilante, or realistically just a successful criminal in general at times, is because he was one of the rare educated people there, with professional field knowledge. He had a master's degree in criminal psychology and spent way too much time studying the law and forensic sciences, and had the opportunity to not only be around it constantly during his police employment days, but also had the experience of working with the Underground, an organization that solely thrived because of their extremely well constructed network that had access to surgeons and forensic cleanups any smaller group would simply not be able to provide. Crime scene clean up, law and safety measures have been drilled into his head since his teen years, and it made him a valuable asset to many people on the sole basis of his connections and knowledge he possessed.
Misha was a driver. He was simply a poor kid who ended up involved with the Underground because of his equally unfortunate sister that met an extremely tragic end down there. He knew a lot about them because, much like Rick, he held a grudge, yet hardly acted much upon it. He investigated and existed quietly in the shadows, garnering info that can help him get justice for his family. But he was, at the end of the day, just a driver. He was in the dark about a lot of things and had no status in the inner hierarchy of the Underground to make any serious damage.
All that to say, Rick was very much the type of person to get irrationally angry at Misha for standing right where the security cameras can see him and thus "putting their mission in theoretical danger", even when neither of them should realistically give a fuck about any danger at all as, ultimately, it makes no difference whatsoever
Because Rick is, in fact, a giant nerd.
And nerds are gonna be nerds even when they are facing actual death and doom.

AAAHH i goootchaa, that definitely makes sense, but still kinda sucks ah :,) super sorry you've had that experience, I wish I had an ipad on hand so I can work side by side to see what formatting fits it best 😭🙏 I'm super glad you've enjoyed the images anyway!! ❤️❤️

Wait that’s my bad actually- I think it is a formatting issue. I just made a bad choice of words- what I mean by “the images display fine” is that I can see the whole picture if I tap and hold, but unlike the images, I can’t get the text to display at all. The website overall looks okay, it doesn’t look wonky aside from the sides being cut off. But honestly, I wouldn’t worry too much about looking into it on your end, I don’t think there’s a lot that can be done since iPads/tablets in general are just known to have formatting problems haha. But I will for sure be checking out the characters profiles here and there on a desktop when I have a chance!! ♡

Haha I totally agree, and I'm so glad!! 🥹🫂❤️ Daamn I didn't even know it was THAT horrific from ipad's side 😭 I wonder why they do that, I might try googling for solutions from my end if there are any 🤔 what's surprising is that the images are displayed fine ahhahah if it was a format issue, those would be screwed up top aaa 😭 I'm glad you were able to enjoy the art though!! Thank you sooo much for checking that out even with the site issues haha, and FJ's page!! 🥹❤️ his is one of my favs as well ❤️❤️

Symbolical characters are the best fr 🥹💞 I look forward to seeing more of him for sure!! Yesss sometimes iPads are a pain in the ass for that reason 😭 I’ve tried the site on Firefox, Puffin, and one other browser that was made SPECIFICALLY to display websites in mobile format on iPads but nothing worked 😔 the images display fine though so I did enjoy seeing all the art! I loved the ones on FJ’s page in particular :D

Aah thank you so much!! 🥹❤️ i seriously struuuuggle with perspectives to this dayy bro ahhaha its so much trial and error 😭🙏 Aahahahah and nono you're seeing it good, Kendle is, in fact, tied up and very much unconcious 🥲 AHHH BUT I'M SO GLAD YOU LIKE MISHAAA 😭❤️ i think he's genuinely the most symbolically important/tragic character in all of the kostrov traces so any piece that has him included judt hits different for me 🫂❤️🩹 and he definitely is! He can definitely be feisty and argumentative when need be, but he's definitely very beaten down by life, and I'm kinda glad that reflects in his design! He's definitely meant to be very sad and very just weighted down by the troubles he's basically been facing since birth 💔 OH MAN SEE the provider I use to build the sites only lets me build a mobile and a desktop version separately aahhh, and since ipads are such a middle ground, I never know how they'll read the web 😭 it may be worth it to also try different internet browsers! I noticed firefox has the most accurate behavior when it comes to internet browsing in general, especially on mobile ♡ definitely feel free to check out the site when you'll be able to, there's a little character description for everyone and I think you've read misha super well even without it 😍❤️

The perspective here is flawless omg I don’t know how you do it 😩🤌💕 Is Kendle tied up? I see something around his legs, I just can’t tell if it’s part of his pants or not 😭 (my eyes aren’t the greatest haha) I LOVE SEEING MORE MISHA CONTENT TOOOO!! I think he’s a very intriguing character. He seems like a quiet, kinda sad/mellow person- or at least those are the vibes I’m getting. He looks like he carries a lot of hurt, I can almost see it in his face y’know?.. Or maybe he’s just ✨tired✨ Ugh I keep telling myself I gotta have a proper look at the Grimport Misfits website so I can read about all of them one day. I can’t see the full character descriptions on my iPad (which isn’t a big deal, nothing seems to display correctly on iPad😭) NEXT TIME IM ON A COMPUTER THO I’m going to try to remember to have a look at the website 🙏

Hehehe he'd definitely wave baack ❤️🥰❤️ and ty smm, I totally love his hair haha, it has such a nice shine under the lights!! Ahahaha i'm so glad you like the expressions here, Misha is so seriously tired of Rick's shit 🤣 they haven't seen each other in so many years. Yet it only took like a couple of days for Rick to annoy this poor man through and through lmao

👀✨ !! Well, hello there ! That is a really nice honey hair for Misha. It is nice to meet him. Wow, wow, wow, because of the paparazzi always following him (being spot on the cameras 😂). Oooh, damn, Rick seriously needs a break from life. Thank you a lot for this illustration. Rick's expression is funny 😆. Misha is just like: "bruh, 4 real?"
