I love that Avery excitably started asking questions and sharing his thoughts. Rhys was probably nervous about telling him that secret, whether it was because he wasn’t allowed or he was afraid he wouldn’t be accepted. It’s wholesome that they’re so comfortable around each other 😌 (plus Avery is a huge nerd so of course he would have questions lol)
