Replacing NSFW illustrations with rotating doujin...?
🕑 Added 2022-09-21 23:17:12 +0000 UTCSo I've been having lots of fun with this NSFW doujin and it's made me realize how much I miss doing these. I've been toying around with the idea of replacing the monthly NSFW illustrations with a rotating NSFW doujin that updates once a week. I just...really want to do fandom doujin again too, is the thing. I know y'all are here for my original comics though, so I wanted to get a feel on whether or not this would be a thing you'd be into! I'd probably switch off between fandom and original doujin like Cherry Bomb, but my fandom doujin usually can be read without knowing anything about the fandom/pairing. (current fandom doujin contenders are kuro/tsukki from Haikyuu!!, joe/cherry from Sk8!, hawke/fenris from Dragon Age, galo/lio from Promare, and lmao derek/stiles from Teen Wolf)
This would also switch up the physical reward schedule. Instead of getting a postcard every month, I'd set up a range in which you'd need to be a physical tier patron for in order to get the physical book. So keep that in mind while voting!
I will ultimately make the final decision, but I will be taking this poll into consideration. If you have any questions leave a comment below and I'll try to answer them.

I’ll be happy to continue supporting at a physical tier whatever you decide to do, but also agree with previous commenters re: getting physical copies for fandoms we may not be familiar with or interested in. For example, I’d be psyched for the Promare and Dragon Age ideas, but I’m not in the other fandoms so I wouldn’t be interested in them.

Yeah unfortunately that would kill me OTL;; Not against doing one every now and then! I get quite a few folks who opt out of the postcard since they understandably don’t want to hang up porn. There’s just no way for me to make everyone happy sadly.

I would be so sad to see the NSFW postcards go. I adore them greatly. Looking forward to something in the mail every month is such an awesome thing for me. I can totally understand wanting to change things up though. It seems I am in the minority so maybe you could still do the occasional nsfw illustration and sell it in your shop every so often? I’m guessing a higher cost tier that gave the illustration and doujin or a separate doujin tier would be way to much strain on your already heavy work load? Thank you for your time.
I think you should do whatever would be fun!

Yeah I suppose that could be done it’s just more work lol

Would we get a physical copy of the doujin once completed? If that’s the case it would be better to stick to original doujins because honestly I would not like a book (even if it is NSFW 🥵) featuring a fandom I’m not interested in. 😕 At least with your NSFW illustrations/prints and/or original doujins we get characters that we’re fully here for and know and love. If it were fandom, patrons should have an option to opt out of that particular physical doujin and be able to get something of equal value (via say a code for $15 or $20, whatever you MSRP value the books at) from the store instead so that everyone would still get their money’s worth.

changing up between fandom and original may add some new ideas to the mix

I'd love a Fenhawk dojin but whatever you do I am going to love it.

I’d cry if you did a FenHawke doujin.

Having a fandom and original NSFW doujin would be so fun! I'd love to see your fandom work again.

If you are asking, I'd kind of prefer doujin to the NSFW postcards. But I think honestly you should pick what is the most fun for you right now and change it up when you need to! You have these big stories running full time, whatever lets you decompress from that is the right pick as far as we are concerned.

I do like the original doujin idea better but fandom doujins also sound interesting!
