You are right that this is a fictional world, but all the things you are commenting about in this story are inspired by many events in real world history - well, except for the dragons, i guess!!! lol - There have been mad kings, and cruel kings, and idiot kings, and incest in royal lines, and killings of innocents, and torture, and lots and lots of wars - most of them motivated by religion, btw... 😮
