I’m still relatively new to this, I’m on the $19 dollar tier. Does that mean anything? Do I still contribute to the Kickstarter?

I have a question about the extra add on Merch you can buy after you pledge. When do you plan on having this available? And is it accessible to anyone that pledges or do you need to at least pledge to a physical tier? I couldn’t get anything from the last Kickstarter and I’ve never used the site before so I’m just curious how that part worked! Can’t wait to see the physical book though! <3

It ranges! The heavier your rewards, the more the shipping will cost, but they're for sure a bit cheaper than Avialae since we aren't dealing with a full slipcase of books aha.

Yes there will be a size chart for the shirts! Almost everything will be sent out in one shipment, it kind of depends on the weight of what you get, which we had to guess for since we don't have everything in stock obviously.

I'm a bit concerned about shipping costs to Germany (plus starting from July we have to pay customs fees for every shipment we receive from outside Europe 😵), hope it won't cost an arm and a leg

Yeah! So, for Kickstarters, there are several pledge levels (as seen in Lucid's photos above), you can pledge to any of those levels, and assign the pledge to whatever card you want to use, but the card won't be charged unless the project makes it's goal and if the goal isn't made then you won't be charged. The charge comes when the project actually ends, not when the goal is made (so if the 30K goal is made within the first day, you still won't be charged until the project time has run it's course, so if it's a 30 day project, you wouldn't be charged until the project closes on the 18th of July at 12.01a) As far as pledging, you don't have to stick to one pledge during the entire campaign, you can still change it to whatever level is comfortable to you, so if you find that you are running low on funds as the project comes to a close, you can lower your pledge tier, or if you have a bit of extra money and wanted to upgrade your tier or get some of the add-ons that caught your eye, then you can change or add-on what you like. Your backer number won't change no matter what you do with your pledge (unless you cancel it entirely, in which case I think it would give you a new backer number). As far as receiving the goods, the timeline will be outlined in the Kickstarter campaign once the page opens. Lucid will outline how the project will run and what's going to happen. They will also provide updates either throughout the campaign or after or both. The Kickstarter itself isn't like getting things from their store, in that it won't be shipped immediately after the campaign is over. Once the campaign is over, the funds are collected and Kick holds it for a bit until it's finally handed over to the creator so that they can use those funds as they outlined in the campaign (to make the orders to their manufacturers for all the things they outlined in the campaign). Every Kick is different, but Lucid's will be similar to this judging from their last campaign for chapter 6 of Avialae. Most of the info that concerns everything will be on the campaign page once it launches and you'll be able to choose the tier you want to support and everything. As far as having the funds now, you just need to have them when the campaign ends, so if you need time to save, you have the length of the project to do so. :3 I hope this helps! 💙✨ (I know I wrote a lot TwT) ~Panther

Oh I'm so excited, the hardcover is so pretty!! How will shipping cost be added for international folks? I can't remember if it was added for the last KS
