Say what you will about the story - I am enjoying it BTW - but I don't think anybody can deny that so many scenes just look INCREDIBLE. Also, that Harfoot song was so beautiful and the way they seamlessly blended the scenery onto the map and then the map back onto the scenery... WOW, chills!!! "I trade all I've know for the unknown ahead..." ... "That not all who wonder or wander are lost..." If those words don't capture Tolkien's recurring call for a spirit of adventure, I don't know what does... That song could easily have been written by Bilbo Baggins...
