Also....I learned a lot of new English words in this movie. Also....Sam sure loves Frodo.

This isn’t about Star Wars, imagine searching for a movie and playing the first thing that’s comes out, not just once. Imagine focusing all the attention on sam and Frodo scenes unable to see anything but romance. Then while completely clueless be confused by something that was explained seconds ago, that happened every 5 minutes

Also, Arwen is around 3000 years old and Aragorn is around 90 years old, so in a sense she was sort of robbing the cradle 😂 Although to be fair 3000 in human years is about 24 in elf years.

Love that scene. "I would have followed you my brother, my captain, my king..." 😢

My favorite scene is Arwen being chased by the ring-wraiths ending in the stand-off challenge: "If you want him, come and claim him!"... Still remember chills watching it in the theater...

One of the most touching scenes in this movie

My favorite character, Boromir’s death always hits me the hardest 😭 But Aragorn’s reassurance that he won’t let Gondor fall was beautiful.

Haha that's a funny point. Speaking of Anakin, you seem to be channeling your inner Anakin Skywalker at 1:08:53 "is she an angel?" 😂
Calu
Well, I don't believe on-screen Padme and Anakin set a high bar to pass!!! I think Han and Chewy had better on-screen sexual chemistry than those two! 😂

Sam and Frodo had better on screen sexual chemistry than Padme and Anakin. Lol. I wouldn’t consider that a spoiler, don’t worry. Atleast now I won’t have to wonder will they or won’t they. 😂
Tobywan720
But you aren't the first person to theorize that!

So happy that you are watching these movies. I know it is a bit of a long haul, but the full trilogy is most definitely worth it. BTW, I believe a young Galadriel is one of the main characters in the new Rings of Power show.

Okay I just finished this. It's a fantastic movie, right?? I have to leave for something right now, but I want to say real quick, Sam and frodo are not gay. Neither tolkien nor Jackson intended for that to be the case. Tolkien meant to put forward a rare deep, faithful, and heroic display of "philia" love (brotherly love). That might be a spoiler of some kind, I do not think it is, but if you think it is, sorry. I just think that you may be able to enjoy the last two movies better and and get more out of their relationship if you don't have that lingering in the back of your mind 👍

He's such a great actor

I can't believe they have extended versions of a 3 hour movie LOL. Also thanks, i love my new glasses :)

The actor who plays Gandalf also played Magneto in the X-men movies. Which is probably why he looks familiar to you. He also said he gets mistaken for Dumbledore In public 😂

I’m so happy you’re watching the theatrical version. That’s the version everyone fell in love with before the extended editions came out, which are great too. You’re new glasses look great btw!

Not yet not yet! I will soon! :)

Oh yeah he's one of my favorite LOTR characters, after Aragorn 👍 Have you watched Two Towers and Return of the King yet? Sam's best moments are in those two, in my opinion!

I love him. He makes me feel warm! :)

I heard once a long time ago (I think I heard, but can't remember who said it) about Sam: "He is the friend we all want, but none want to be." I thought that was good.
