September - House of the Dragon/Rings of Power
🕑 Added 2022-08-24 20:24:57 +0000 UTCIn addition to the LOTR Trilogy, we will be watching Rings of Power on the Patreon Movie Tier as well as House of the Dragon! For many of the episodes, I'll do a watch party on Discord, and also find a way to record those events so that people who don't watch along can also see them as a VOD right here on Patreon. We already saw Episode 1 of House of the Dragon, but we can start with Episode 2. Please note that I'll be away for PAX next weekend but I'll see if we can do them while I'm there and if not, as soon as I'm back. Biting off a little more than I may be able to chew, Andor is coming in September as well! We'll see if I can squeeze that in.

Sure! I downloaded Discord. Is there a specific time/schedule for when you watch them? I tried looking around and didn't see any posts on the React channel or when I browsed the Discord casually about it. I totally understand about Youtube. I definitely don't want it to be a bunch of work/pain for you to do so hopefully you can find an alternative. Appreciate you responding!

I would actually love Youtube to make it easy but they are so strict with copyright I would have to spend so much time to edit! So much easier to figure out a way to put them up here :) Looks like it will be a fun season! The discord watch alongs are really fun too if you ever do decide to get it. We can all react in real time together.

SOOOO excited that you are going to react to House of the Dragon!!!!!! Really bummed I missed out on episode 1 and missed out on your initial reactions. I had zero clue that was even happening or I would've downloaded Discord for it. Appreciate you are going to try and find a way to record them. I don't even mind using Discord (though I know many people never use it), I just had no clue it was happening and I am assuming I can't go back and watch that lol. I know some streamers do live reactions/premiers on Youtube, where they can have youtube make it into a VoD for later viewing but also interact with their community via chat. No idea how that works behind the scenes though.
