This episode was so hype! As a non manga reader, I'm excited to see how and when they explain the context of Tanjiro's I'm guessing, ancestor, fighting Muzan. I wonder what his story is, maybe he was the 1st sun breather? Muzan obviously survived the battle but it seems that he's afraid of sun breathers which is interesting.

That's not his Dad, but the perspective of your timeline &amp; logic is actually irrelevant here. You are definitely right about Muzan being around for over centuries, but the altercation that happened in the memories that he's remembering didn't happened 100years ago, it actually happened during the time Tanjiro's father was alive, so it would make sense if it was his father...BUT it definitely isnt. I just wanted to point out that it wouldn't be impossible cause the timeline wasnt that long ago...and I don't want to say why cause it's definitely a spoiler and idk if you have read the anime or not, so I don't want to say how I know this.

That's unfortunate knowing people make knee-jerk judgments because that means they aren't remembering one of the main lessons they teach in the first season :) All of these demons have fascinating backstories that shape who they are. Sometimes they are really tragic. Tanjiro himself is the one who leads by example in this and shows compassion for them knowing a lot of them never had choices. If only we all acted like Tanjiro, the world would be a better place

I really appreciate something you pointed out. I've seen from friends and other react-video creators that they dislike Daki because she's a terrible person. You're the first one I've seen who wondered _why_ Daki is the way she is. It's an observation that is beautifully empathic, and it makes me very glad to see you put it out there.

This is not a spoiler by any means but that is not tanjiros father…….it was stated in the first episode that his family were purely charcoal sellers and knew nothing about the existence of demons as well as the demon slayers…….plus if you think about it from a timeline perspective muzan is over centuries old so with that fact that means the demon slayers and the demons have been around for over centuries…..and with this fact logically that man can’t be tanjiros father because if it was the dad would’ve been at least 100 years old. If Daki is experiencing this memory of muzan logically it must’ve happened centuries ago. Again this is NOT A SPOILER it’s just logic
