Well, technically, her Time Out was to call Leroy off. Sam was hers to crush, and he was messing with her property. That's cold blooded. Let's just say that in that situation, when she was arms length and observing cruelty to Sam, she had enough objectivity to realize he needed protection. But when she was doing it, she lost perspective and couldn't see. With Helen and Colin, she's off balance, unfamiliar with either of them, a little bit guilt struck and really, it's Helen that's topping from the bottom. As to whether Kayley gets used to the idea of slaves and embraces it... yeah, she could do total damage. The dark side is there.

Hey I just wasn’t feeling Kayley being so benevolent. I know she has a soft side, but she has never shown it during a sexually charged situation, not even when she called “time out”, even then it was just to alive her own feelings about being cruel to Sam and then she went right back to trying to break him. I think she would have made them both do a lot more to get her off and then have them do it to each other. Kind of sad that she didn’t come clean with Sam and he with her, but then again because of the sin of omission Leroy will take them to hell before they get it out and confess it all to each other.

I don't think either of them needed to be a sexy intelligent couple like Kayley and Sam. I liked the innocence they both portrayed...dumb as a box of rocks when it boils down to it....but, that didn't matter to them because they have love for each other - enough that they want to live their lives beyond their strict religious upbringing. Kayley was a true godsend to them in a way and Helen capitalized on the moment. I think that's why bobblehead Helen wanted to experience whatever Kayley would dish out. She believed she was a true Dom and wanted to learn how to be sexually submissive to please Colin, but most of all to please Kayley...just my opinion on the whole side trip. I do think we are seeing a side of Kayley not even she realized was there - the ER type of bruising she dealt out...Wow! Well that was a lot of fun, a real change of tone, a luxury of the episodic story format. They remind of the minor Shakespearian characters that wander into the tragedy for brief comic relief, before the play gets back to the main story. But even amid the antics, we see Kayley's darkness, her guilt, her continuous betrayal of Sam. I do find the couple the least realistic characters we have met so far, but for the comedy to work they would have to be.

I hope you enjoyed that little side trip. I have to warn you, there will be plenty of side trips for our trio. I think it would just get dull to have the same dynamic over and over - Leroy topping, Kayley submitting, Sam getting cucked. For Kayley especially, there'll be solo adventures, or other situations. Trust me, a lot of men are going to be passing through her legs. In writing this one, I really wanted to play with Kayley, to the point where she's not in control. She's completely at sea, she's just coping and trying to keep up, not really understanding what's going on but improvising. It gave me a chance to show some other sides to her, and to return her to her essential decency and goodness, even while we can see her savage side clawing at the bars struggling to be let out. Still, I wanted to leave the sense that even if she's a lying cheating whore with an unbelievable cruel streak, she's also funny and sweet and at heart a good person that you like. And funny. I wanted to make it funny. I hope that didn't undermine the sexy too much. In the S&M community we had a thing called Topping from the Bottom. That was when the submissive was bossy and calling the shots, so that the S&M relationship was actually the opposite of what it looked like on the surface, with the slave being in control. Human relationships are complicated, even when we try to make them simple. So once you get that, you realize that really, it's Helen who is dominating the shit out of Kayley, though neither of them really understand it. Helen's incredibly repressed, naive, and she's got this incredible overpowering craving that she she doesn't understand and barely admits, colourful fantasies of domination and submission that are totally vague and formless. But the moment she gets the notion that she's met an actual dominatrix... wow. She just won't let go for anything. Helen has no clue, sexually, but still, she's absolutely manipulative and demanding of Kayley to do... something... to her. Mix in naivety, I had a lot of fun writing this. If you're wondering if they'll be coming back. Yes. Although I'm not sure how and where. Kayley's dance card is going to be filling up with stranger's cocks and all kinds of degradations and perversions, and I want to be absolutely filthy. I have no idea where I'll squeeze them in. But I do like them. Leroy set Kayley's feral side loose on same, he did everything to let her run wild, and maybe was a bit surprised at how uncontrollable and vicious she is when it lets loose. But here, we've got Kayley, feeling her feral side, but also no one encouraging it to run wild, and instead she finds herself trying to balance it out with her idea of herself as a good person. Part of her wants to absolutely turn them into total sex slaves. But there's a part of her that's turned itself into a mother bear for them. They're her little sex cubs, and while they might only make occasional appearances, if anyone even thinks of fucking with them she'll be savage. That, I think will be the relationship. She'll be intensely protective and nurturing and constantly trying to guide and affirm them, and Helen will be going "Okay, now fist my ass while I'm tied up and Colin is spitting on my face." It'll be an interesting balancing act. The scene where she gets up the nerve to introduce them to Sam just writes itself. Anyway, I got the humour and silliness out of my system. Now time to go back to raunch, filth and depravity. I hope this little commentary wasn't too obvious.
