This is easily the best representation of grief. She cant get rid of it. We see in the last shot it still affects her, but she has learned to live with it, including all the discomfort and misery it brings.

It’s reactions like this that are really gonna make me miss this Patreon 😭 but yeah I’m very glad jimmy enjoyed this as much as he did. He enjoyed the kid more than I expected (I know a few of us weren’t confident in that) but he truly appreciated the child actor and of course Essie Davis. She CRUSHED IT. This movie is such a good way of portraying grief

This was actually one of your best horror reactions. Not just because of it being a “horror” genre movie, but as you said, a physiological movie that truly gets under your skin. I haven’t watched this since it came out, but wow am I even more impressed seeing it again through this reaction. The actress and child actor are fantastic, and Jimmy the goat as usual 👌🏼
