The original pilot was definitely different but not completely, it had the same energy of introducing both the concept of the show and the characters. A big thing about it being non canon was Stolas’ characterization which is part of why that would be particularly unfamiliar. Also the white marks on imps are generally scars! Blitzø has a lot of scars, which we learned about some in season two. I loved the foreshadowing that the new pilot is capable of, like showing Ozzie’s and stuff. It’s a much better lead in to the show as it is now, imo.
