Everything you need to know about Roxanne
🕑 Added 2024-10-01 09:20:41 +0000 UTCHi everyone, as many of you may already know, we are now ready to release the first version of Roxanne. I want to make a post update to inform you about known problems and features of the game in this very first version.
Let's start by clarifying one point. This is a game based on exhibitionism and humiliation. Sex is not part of the foundation of the genre so it is not currently included. We plan to put it in a separate mode in the future but we still have to decide how and when. So I would like to ask you not to play the game if you are not a fan of this genre, you won't find anything exciting.
GAMEPLAY
As I told you before, this is a game based on exhibitionism. In this game you will be in the role of Roxanne, a girl who slowly discovers her desire to be seen naked by other people.
You won't start with the knowledge that you have this desire, which is why there will be a rank-based progression system in the game. By performing various actions you will gain experience, with this experience you will unlock new features, clothes and emotes that you can use the next time you leave the house.
There are currently 4 maps + 1 bonus (the house) in the game.
They will all be unlockable as the rank progresses.
The maps currently available are:
• House
• City
• Supermarket
• Swimming pool
• Mall
Furthermore, some maps will have modes separate from the standard one, the ones currently in game are:
• Standard
• Locked Out
• Blindfold
Currently available only in the city.
In the game will be possible to earn money which can then be spent in the shop to purchase clothes. (When you get to the right rank)
OK so, how do you earn money?
We have developed a live streaming system. Every time you leave the house you can start a live broadcast to show what you are doing. At first you won't feel comfortable having your face seen so you will automatically wear a bag but once you reach a certain level you can take it off
But this is not the only method of earning money. You can also earn part of it by doing missions and, in the future, by uploading photos taken with the camera to a social network.
This last feature is unfortunately still under development.
KNOWN ISSUES
We are already aware of many bugs and various problems, but we need to find a compromise because solving everything would lead to the game never being released, we therefore prefer to release it with some problems and, via our Discord, discover all the bugs and solve them version after version.
I'll leave you a list of known problems below, so you can understand what can be done and what's best not to do.
• Some combinations of clothes glitch, in some cases you will see your underwear even if you have a t-shirt and shorts.
• The intelligence of the NPCs is not the best, you may come across situations where many NPCs are all grouped together in one point.
• First person does not work well in all situations.
• When you lose the game in tight places, the camera will start to glitch.
• Some maps are not complete. They will receive updates in the future.
• We don't know if the balance of money earned - EXP earned - Price of items in the shop is completely balanced.
FINAL SPOILER
In game it will be possible to unlock different 'images' by doing some specific actions.
WARNING: The game will not give you any instructions on how to unlock them all, you will just have to think about different possible situations and try! :)
