Oh ok fair enough. I don't use discord so I'm missing out on a lot. Thanks for explaining. That, at least, makes me feel a bit better. I just worry the project will get abruptly abandoned with virtually radio silence from the dev.

i post a lot on discord, more than Patreon. I dont have time to create dev notes and other stuff, im making the game because i like it, i have even another job IRL so i must use my time in a good way, at the moment im using all of my free time making the game

Those aren't dev notes. Bare Bottom Games, for example, would provide weekly dev notes (deliverables) to let their patrons know what they completed during the week, roadblocks, etc. It eases people's minds knowing that the dev is actually working on the game.

Can you please post more about the dev process so your supporters can better understand the delays? You don't know how many of these games I've contributed funding towards just for them to go nowhere or the dev to quit abruptly.
