I feel like 'Random Student' might be hilarious, if done correctly. Imagine the average borderline illiterate, barely self-aware (let alone aware of current events), by the skin of their teeth sapient preteen trying to put into context events that they neither care about, follow nor understand. I'd suggest framing it as an actually informed student with yet-undestroyed dreams of journalistic integrity interviewing their counterparts, growing increasingly frustrated and discouraged as everyone they speak to turns out to be clinically retarded. Pretend all participants are residents of the 'Idiocracy' film world. The school paper's editor of course, is Snape, because he deserves to suffer a bit before MC gets his hands on him.
